The benefits of feeding linseed to horses have been appreciated for years. But it has always the most practical feed due to the lengthy preparation time of boiling. Now new technology allows us to feed straight from the bucket, as our Linseed Conditioner has been micronised (cooked) and comes as a palatable meal ready to feed.Linseed is high in oil and very low in starch thus providing a safer energy source compared to cereal feeds. This makes it suitable for all horses and ponies, including those prone to laminitis, tying up or those that are excitable when fed cereals.Linseed Conditioner maintains healthy skin condition and produces a show ring shine it has also been reported to provide benefits to horses at risk from Sweet Inch. This is due to the high concentration of Omega3 fatty acids found in the linseed oil, which isnt present in other oils such as soya or corn.Ordinary linseed is low in calcium and has an unfavourable calcium to phosphorus ratio, this has been addressed by fortifying our conditioner with extra calcium helping to maintain normal skeletal, nerve and muscle function.Research has proven that horses require extra vitamin E when fed on a diet supplemented with oil. Linseed conditioner has been fortified with generous levels of vitamin E to satify this requirement. For Nutrient Soecification and Feeding Guide please refer to the Pop up Information.IngredientsMicronised linseed, limestone flour, vitamin E, natural antioxidants. Now only available in 15Kg tub.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PRODUCT IS DELIVERED VIA A CARRIER
